Reconology recently completed parking deck repairs using Carbon Fiber Reinforced DT Joint “Biscuits”. The fiber reinforced laminate Biscuits are designed to repair flange-to-flange shear connections in precast concrete double tees. The specially engineered carbon and glass fabric Biscuits provide high strength and toughness which, when properly installed, are stronger than steel. These are set into a resin matrix which provides strength and chemical resistance to salts and gasoline which cause deterioration in parking decks.
